Psychology
Psychologists help people understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours so they can manage challenges, improve wellbeing, and build healthier ways of coping.
At Nesting Space, our psychologists provide compassionate, evidence-based support to both children and adults living with psychosocial and neurodevelopmental disabilities under the NDIS.
Our team helps clients understand their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build the confidence to participate more fully in everyday life. Sessions are tailored to each person’s goals and may include support for emotional regulation, anxiety management, trauma recovery, social skills, and daily functioning.
Whether working alongside families, schools, or support teams, our psychologists focus on creating safe, neuroaffirming environments that honour each client’s unique experience.
We offer sessions in person home visits and/or via telehealth, supporting clients to build meaningful routines, strengthen relationships, and improve wellbeing at their own pace.
Whether we’re exploring identity, supporting communication, or helping manage anxiety, we prioritise consent, autonomy, and strengths-based approaches. Therapy is paced to the person, and guided by their lived experience.
