Stephanie

Paediatric & Mental Health Occupational Therapist

A Master of Occupational Therapy graduate from the University of Sydney, Stephanie is an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist with many years of paediatric private practice experience, complemented by FIFO rural work across paediatrics and adult mental health. She also brings additional hands-on experience in adult mental health and disability through her previous work as an OT Assistant and Support Worker.

Stephanie approaches therapy with the holistic understanding that, like trees, we need to nurture our roots, our foundational capacities for feeling safe, regulated, and connected before we can tend to our strong branches and beautiful flowers.

Her practice is grounded in understanding how nervous systems work, how each person processes sensory information, and how this shapes their experience of the world. She is certified in DIR/Floortime (101, 201, and 202), which enables her to tune into each person’s unique developmental journey and individual differences, and to tailor therapeutic approaches accordingly. Stephanie draws on sensory integration, emotional regulation, arousal principles, and polyvagal theory to support clients in feeling safe and regulated. When a client feels ready, she also weaves in therapeutic approaches from CBT, DBT, and ACT to support their goals.

Stephanie is passionate about supporting clients to engage in meaningful activities that bring purpose and joy to their lives. She works at the client’s pace, building authentic connection and creating a space where they feel seen and supported. She is committed to neuro-affirming, trauma-sensitive practice that genuinely centres the client, honouring their strengths, challenges, and unique way of experiencing the world.

Stephanie supports clients across the Northern Beaches and North Shore of Sydney.
